We have been
married since 1994 but we have known each other since High School. Even before
we were engaged, Jim was adamant that he wanted to adopt. When it became apparent
that we couldn’t have children, it was a simple decision to make. If
you choose to place your child with us, he/she will grow up in a home that is filled with love, kindness and tolerance as
the priority and a lot of fun mixed in. We both feel that we have the maturity,
life experience and patience to be successful parents.
The past 10 years of our marriage
have taught us both not to sweat the small stuff. We have both gone through heartbreaking
tragedies but have come out stronger with the help of family, friends and most of all each other. It may sound cliché and corny, but it is true. We know that
health and happiness are the most important aspects of life. Not what you have,
but who you have.
